1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to My Interview ("App," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and My Interview.

2. Eligibility

Age Requirement

You must be 16 years or older to use My Interview
If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental/guardian consent
We reserve the right to verify age at any time

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activities under your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

3. Description of Service

My Interview provides:

2 interviews per month (resets on 1st of each month)

Unlimited interviews per month

4. User Account

Account Creation

You must provide accurate and complete information
You may only create one account per email address
Accounts are personal and non-transferable

Account Security

You must use a strong, unique password
Enable device security features (PIN, biometric)
Do not share your account credentials with others

Account Termination by User

You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Privacy & Security > Delete Account
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
Refunds are subject to Section 6 (Subscriptions)

Account Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Violate these Terms
Engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour
Use automated scripts or bots
Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
Provide false information or impersonate others

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You May:

✅ Share success stories (with your own experiences)
✅ Provide feedback and suggestions
✅ Download your own data

You May NOT:

❌ Use the App for any illegal purpose
❌ Upload malicious files (viruses, malware)
❌ Share offensive, defamatory, or harmful content
❌ Scrape or harvest data from the App
❌ Resell or redistribute AI feedback without permission
❌ Create multiple accounts to bypass free tier limits
❌ Reverse engineer or decompile the App
❌ Interfere with the App's operation or security
❌ Impersonate My Interview staff or other users
❌ Submit copyrighted material without permission

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Auto-renews monthly
Cancel anytime (effective next billing cycle)

Premium Annual

Price: £59.99/year (save 37% vs. monthly)
Auto-renews annually
Cancel anytime (effective next billing cycle)

Payment Processing

Payments processed via Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Subscriptions managed through RevenueCat
Prices include applicable VAT (UK) or sales tax

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal
Your payment method will be charged 24 hours before renewal
You can cancel auto-renewal in your device's subscription settings

Cancellation

Cancel anytime via App Store/Play Store subscription settings
No refund for unused time in current billing period
Access continues until end of paid period

Refund Policy

Within 48 hours of purchase: Full refund, no questions asked (contact us directly)
After 48 hours: No refunds for current billing period
Technical issues: Refunds at our discretion if service was unusable
Chargebacks: May result in account termination

Free Trial (If Offered)

Free trial period as advertised (e.g., 7 days)
Cancel before trial ends to avoid charges
One free trial per user (tracked by email and device)

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
Existing subscribers: Changes apply at next renewal
You may cancel before price increase takes effect

7. Intellectual Property

Our IP Rights

The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by My Interview
Protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (CV, feedback, success stories)
By uploading, you grant us a licence to:

- Store and process your content to provide the service

- Display your success stories publicly (with your consent)

- Use anonymised data for service improvement

Success Stories

By submitting a success story, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to publish it
You can request removal at any time
We may edit for grammar, length, or clarity (preserving original meaning)

Feedback and Suggestions

Any feedback you provide becomes our property
We may use feedback to improve the App without compensation to you

8. AI-Generated Content

AI Disclaimer

Interview feedback is generated by AI (Groq/LLaMA models)
AI suggestions are for educational purposes only
Not a substitute for professional career advice

Accuracy

We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee perfection
AI may occasionally produce incorrect or biased feedback
Use AI feedback as one tool among many in your job search

No Guarantees

Using My Interview does not guarantee job offers or interview success
Results depend on your skills, preparation, and the job market

9. Third-Party Services

Job Search (Adzuna)

Job listings provided by Adzuna API
We are not responsible for job posting accuracy or employer actions
Apply to jobs at your own risk

External Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites
We are not responsible for external content or privacy practices
Review third-party terms and policies before engaging

10. Privacy and Data Protection

No Guarantee of Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may cause downtime
We are not liable for service interruptions

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, My Interview SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Lost profits, data, or opportunities
Damages exceeding £100 or amount paid in last 12 months (whichever is greater)

Exceptions

We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence
We do not limit liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Other exclusions prohibited by UK law remain unaffected

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Interview, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Content you upload or submit

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

Mediation through an independent mediator (costs shared 50/50)
Small claims court for disputes under £10,000

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action.

14. Changes to Terms

Notification of Changes

We may update these Terms to reflect legal or service changes
Changes will be posted in the App and via email 30 days before effective date
Continued use after effective date constitutes acceptance

Disagreement with Changes

If you disagree with updated Terms, delete your account before effective date
No refund for unused subscription time upon voluntary account deletion

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and My Interview regarding the App.

17. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

Natural disasters
Government actions
Internet service provider failures
Cyberattacks or data breaches
